How to do Cord Cutting Spell

I’m sure in the google searches you probably heard about cord-cutting.

For me, this is what I use to cut ties with someone.

The key with cord cutting is that it is the last step you take in a situation so that means you have to get rid of all their “stuff” in your space. By that I mean delete photos of them off your phone and social media, block their number and social media’s too, etc 

THEN once you know in your heart of hearts you are done... that’s when you conduct a cord-cutting ritual.

I’ve seen on social media the most popular option to cut cords by wrapping a cord around two candles but here’s a different option for you involving knot magic. 

• Supplies needed ✨
•  2 Pieces of paper
• 2 cords (preferably of different colors but if it’s the same color it’s fine)
•  Salt
• Yarrow (feel free to sub this for any other strength, releasing type herb) 

Procedure on how to do Cord Cutting Spell

Take the two cords and bring them together. Tie 9 knots starting from one end working down to the other. 

In each knot, tie in your intent of letting go. Each knot you can repeat the same intent or you can include something within the ties that you’re trying to let go of, whether that be emotions of shame, fear, guilt, etc. 

Take your two separate pieces of paper.

On one write your name and on the other write theirs.

Tie the two separate pieces to opposite ends of your knotted cord.

Cast a circle of salt and yarrow on top of a fire-safe dish, the circle should be wide enough that it doesn’t touch the cord that you will lay in the center. 

Light both pieces of paper on fire preferably at the same time. If not it’s okay it won’t affect your spell. FIRE SAFETY FIRST. 

Once the cord has completely ashed take your remains and bury them off your property and away from your home.
